The Role and Responsibility of the County Agency:
- Assist the parent in identifying and addressing areas of need, and make referrals to services in the community.
- Accept and forward Crossroads applications to Crossroads Policy.
- If child care costs are being incurred and the family does not have a pending or open Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) case, refer the family to CCAP.
- Share information with Crossroads Policy and Crossroads Case Manager that is pertinent to the parent’s ability to achieve their goals.
- Notify Crossroads Policy immediately should the parent complete their high school education, be approved for TANF, drop out of school, request Crossroads Supportive Services or if their CCAP case will be closing.
